via 313 takes its name from Detroit's legendary 313 area code — a tribute to the city that invented a style of pizza unlike any other. Thick, focaccia-like dough. Wisconsin brick cheese baked wall-to-wall. Sauce ladled on top. The result? A crispy, caramelized cheese crust that pizza lovers crave.
Brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt brought this authentic via313 experience to San Antonio after spending years perfecting their dough recipe and sourcing the finest ingredients. What started as a food truck dream became a brick-and-mortar destination that has redefined what pizza can be in Texas.

Brandon and Zane Hunt, Detroit natives, move to Austin, TX. Craving the pizza of their hometown, they begin experimenting with dough recipes in their apartment kitchen, determined to recreate authentic via313 Detroit-style pizza in Texas.
Via 313 launches as a food truck in Austin. The response is overwhelming — long lines form within weeks. Their square, crispy-edged pies quickly earn a devoted following and local press attention for bringing true Detroit-style pizza to the South.
Success on wheels leads to a permanent home. Via 313 opens its first restaurant location, expanding the menu and welcoming even more fans to experience the full via313 dining experience — from signature pizzas to craft drinks and sides.
Via 313 brings its Detroit-style magic to San Antonio, TX — opening the location at 17315 I-10, Suite 105. A new city quickly falls in love with the thick, cheese-edge perfection that defines genuine via 313 pizza.
A milestone worth celebrating. Via 313 San Antonio serves its 50,000th customer, a testament to the community's love for authentic Detroit-style pizza. New seasonal menu items, catering services, and loyalty rewards launch this year.
